Students of the University of Batangas(UB) College of Law bookmarked their reading pages in the meantime and visited Laurel, Batangas on February 17,2013 for a Livelihood Project. Composed of UB Law students taking Corporate Practice as members/stockholders, the two corporations, namely Out of the Box Consultancy Services, Inc. and Backstage Events Organizing Services, Inc. concluded a successful livelihood project in Laurel.
Truly, a great platform to train future lawyers on the importance of Social Responsibility, a soft law principle, encourage among private and public corporations, to upheld the balance between economy and ecosystem by acting for the benefit of the society at large. This CSR Project is annually held by law students taking Corporate Practice subject under Atty.Franklin Cueto. Kudos to the University of Batangas College of Law, its students and Atty. Cueto for activities advancing social goals.
