After receiving simultaneous chair-spins from Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams and Blake Shelton, Katriz Trinidad, a Filipino-American teenager whose family hails from Lipa City, Batangas chose Team Pharrell.

In an effort to persuade Katriz to join his team, Pharrell said "I never thought that I would find something that I'd usually look for my own label; that I'd been dreaming for an artist like you all my career”. During her performance, he stood up while she was singing then dropped his knees, and even wrote the word “Please” on a notebook.

According to Shelton, “All of us, in the back of our minds, keep the hope alive that somehow we’ll find someone who is just born to be a star,” And he thinks Katriz could be that person. Blown away by Katriz’s performance Gwen Stefani on the otherhand said “I feel like you’re almost like a perfect singer”

Thinking that he truly believed in her, as she saw it in his eyes, in the end, Katriz went with her gut feeling and chose Team Pharell. According to Katriz’s social media post she has “the awesomest moment of her life and she’s thankful and blessed”

Katriz wowed coaches with her rendition of Etta James’ song “At Last.”
