 Sining Tag-Araw Summer Arts Festival Lipa City Batangas April – May 2013 The festival seeks to provide artistic opportunities for children, youth, and the community while developing their creative talents through different art workshops and exposures to artistic activities like exhibition and shows.The festival includes four components; Sining Galing Paghusayin Art Workshop for Children & Teens is designed for newbie’s and children who wanted to explore arts Sining Testing: The 4th Lipa Performance Laboratory is for promising and established artists in theater and dance. It gives them an opportunity to discover new art pedagogues thus improve their artistic process and develop their relevance to the community. This program includes apprentice actors from Lipa Actors Company with guests from different local and national dance & theater groups. Araw ng Sining Biswal is an exhibition for visual artists who include painters, sculptor, performance artists, hobbyist, and newbie with their paintings, sculpture, installations gracing the day of the festival. Sining Sine is a festival for independent film makers. A fellow of CCP Arts Program in Master Class for Directing Theater, and having a long list of background in the field, Lui is the person behind the success of many theatrical productions, the most recent of which is the Ang Luha ni Kumintang presented both in Lipa, CCP and at 7th National Theater Festival.
